President
Brandon Evans co-founded Media Makers LLC in 2002 upon his return to America from London, England where he was the Director of Business Development for Big Picture Ltd. While at Big picture, Brandon specialized in producing world-class music and television concerts sold for worldwide distribution. International acts included: Sting, Back Street Boys, Westlife Alicia Keys and Pink. For over eleven years, Brandon has executed marketing and sponsorship strategies for musical and entertainment events throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Prior to his time at Big Picture, Brandon served in several capacities at Initiative Media Worldwide (formerly Western International Media Corporation) including a key role in Initiative’s initial entry into the People’s Republic of China. He possesses a strong background in business development, marketing, sponsorship sales, artist and event management as well as negotiating with domestic and international entertainment venues. Clients that Brandon has worked with include: Anheuser Busch / Budweiser, Colgate, PepsiCo, Motorola, Levi Strauss & Company, McDonald’s, Ford Motor Company, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Grey, Octagon, Disney, Warner Bros, Acura, Honda, Coca Cola, Vans, Sony Records, KFC, Miller Brewing Company, and Shaw Media – Hong Kong. In addition to managing several bands, Brandon spent eight years at Nederlander Entertainment where he worked his way up to being Marketing Director for the company. Christopher M. Fredericks
Executive Vice President
Chris Fredericks co-founded Media Makers LLC in 2002, after leaving Initiative Media Worldwide (formerly Western International Media Corporation) where he was the Senior Vice President / General Manager of the Motivational Incentives Group, the promotional marketing division of the corporation. Under his tutelage, Motivational Incentives Group specialized in consumer promotions, continuity programs, sales incentives, sweepstakes, contests, promotional products and gifts, employee motivation opportunities, and direct marketing programs. During his ten-years at Initiative, he grew the division’s billings seven-fold to $21 million annually. Some of the many of clients Chris has worked with include: Disney, Warner Bros Studio Stores, Verizon, Foot Locker, Home Depot, Federal Express, Bell South, Darden Restaurants, CKE Enterprises / Carl’s Jr., CBS, UPN, University of Phoenix, Raytheon, Hughes Electronics, and Boeing. Chris, an avid yachtsman and a California native, with the exception of spending the first four years of his life in New York, received his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with an emphasis in International Business from California State University at Dominguez Hills. Shane Dodson
Managing Director, UK and Europe
Shane brings extensive experience in sales and marketing, promotions, branding, and business development. Specializing in the entertainment industry, Shane has most recently consulted for the worlds largest mobile operator Vodafone, helping build their marketing strategy and alignment with key entertainment brands for Vodafone live!, the world’s largest mobile content service. He also represented Vodafone commercially in key cross industry entertainment standards negotiations. Prior to his time at Vodafone, Shane was the SVP of Business Development for Internet Plc where he played a key role in successfully developing innovative product and promotional opportunities with Britney Spears Inc, Fremantle Media (American Idol), Paramount, Disney, Sony Pictures, Sony Music, and Activision. He also served as head of strategic relations and entertainment partnerships at new media initiative, Precious Cargo where he was instrumental in building sponsorship opportunities and programs for Barclaycard, HMV, EMAP and Virgin Records. Shane begin his career in the music industry working for Hannah Management, eventually ending up at EMI. Having worked through the creative process he has a detailed understanding of developing an entertainment property including artist and event management. His formative years were spent in the United Kingdom where he went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in computing and intelligent systems from Oxford Brookes University. Still based in London when time permits he is a keen fencer and enjoys skiing at any opportunity. Rob McQueen
Managing Director, Eastern Region
Rob McQueen brings to the team a highly specialized background in corporate branding and marketing as well as entertainment and sporting event management and production. His client list includes: Steinway & Sons, Sesame Workshop, Carolina Arts Festival, Broadway Rocks, Readers Digest, Arthur Ashe Institute, among many others. Rob started his career and Backer & Spielvogel advertising, managing promotional programs for clients including Miller Brewing Company, Prudential and Hyundai, before becoming Marketing Manager and Director of Player Representation at People & Properties, a sports television and marketing agency. After a successful run at Arnold Palmer’s Golden Bear Enterprises, Rob sold sponsorships and advertising for Madison Square Garden Corporation, and then stepped into a business development role at Kaleidoscope Sports and Entertainment. In addition to his work at Media Makers, Rob currently spends his “free” time as an Adjunct Instructor at the Marketing and Management Institute of New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies and is a general partner and producer of a new theatrical play in development, Romeo and Juliet The Musical. Dennis Duitch
Director of Business Affairs
Dennis brings to the Media-Makers team over 20 years entertainment and media industry experience in strategic, financial, tax and operations planning & management. As founding partner of Duitch & Franklin LLP, one of Los Angeles largest independent CPA / Business Management firms, Dennis' clientele included producers, performers, directors, agents and production companies -- in film, music, media, infomercial and technology arenas. After his firm was acquired by a public company, Dennis spent two years as president of the Smart Inventions group, involved in consumer product development, import, direct response TV marketing and retail distribution. Dennis entered the business world in Chicago, after an undistinguished career as rock and jazz musician, and completed his MBA at Northwestern University. In addition to CPA, Mediation and Business Appraisal skills, Dennis has developed and instructed courses in finance, accounting and management for business and graduate school programs. He serves on Boards for companies and charitable Foundations including Cardiac Arrythmia Research, Int'l Trauma & Healing Institute, and Habitat for Humanity Resource Center. Tiffany Findley
Manager, Project/Client Relations
Tiffany Findley brings over twelve years of experience in project and brand management, strategic sales and consumer promotions in the U.S. and European home video and video game sales and marketing sectors. Tiffany began her career at MGM / United Artists Home Entertainment coordinating home video launch programs for theatrical titles and the vast MGM catalog including: MGM Musicals and the James Bond series. Evolving to video games, Tiffany spent seven years with Interplay Entertainment as the Director of Strategic Sales. In this role, she developed and managed the retail specific and national consumer promotions for all new release titles including: Virtual Pool, Descent 1 & 2, Starfleet Academy, Starfleet Command, Baldur’s Gate, Fallout 1&2, Icewind Dale, Messiah, MDK, and Giants. Cross promotional partners that Tiffany developed and worked with included: WalMart, Best Buy, Costco, Target, Blockbuster, Electronics Boutique, Toys-R-Us, Tower Records, Fry’s Electronics, Future Shop (Canada), Interact, Cannon, Phillips, Fox Interactive, Lucas Arts. Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications from the University of Utah and started her career with Martin Ransohoff Productions in Beverly Hills, California. Stuart S. Business Development
Stuart James recently joined Media Makers after returning from China where he had been consulting for multinational brands including Budweiser, Pepsi, Reebok, and Tiger Beer to create and effectuate interactive marketing solutions in-country. These campaigns utilized existing content from sponsored properties and programs across multiple media platforms. Stuart brings over twelve years of sports marketing experience to Media Makers. He headed the Los Angeles office of Sports Unlimited where he was instrumental in representing high-profile professional athletes in their marketing, promotions, and business interests. Additionally, he headed the merger of Sports Unlimited with Acme Talent and Literary leveraging Acme’s entertainment resources in the sports field. Prior to his tenure at Sports Unlimited he worked in West Coast Promotions at Orion Pictures Feature Film Releases. Beginning his career as Sports Information Director at New York Tech, in 1993 Stuart created NYIT Sports, a joint- venture between Sports Channel, ABC Sports, and three universities, to broadcast live-collegiate athletics in the New York metropolitan area. A proud native of Long Island, New York, Stuart is an avid sports fan who received a full-athletic scholarship from New York Institute of Technology yet never actually had to wear the school’s uniform (he was a coach...). Stuart has received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in Communications from NYIT. |
